As you may know we have come across a bit of a bump in the road. Or more like potholes on a rainy day. I will be going over the gallery, and for the secrets that I believe are violating the copyright laws, I will remove without consulting the secret holder. If I removed one of your secrets, and you can claim that it isn't someone else's image or that you have a right to use someone else's image, then please note me. I apologize for this inconvenience, as I know that it is my own fault. Please bear with me.

I'm working with some people who will be helping me with a project that you will be informed of later.

So how about that "Nicole" hacking the Post Secret blog, huh? I'm not too sure what that was about, but it caught me by surprise and actually made me think it was my internet that had an issue.

Supposedly though, it was a case of "national security". To that I say:

Politics. Tsktsk.

I have to apologize, yet again for my long absence from the club. I hope you all still continue your amazing support for the club, and that you will keep sharing your secrets with us. Unfortunately, in regards to the club's e-mail, all the secrets sent to it in the past few months have been deleted due to inactivity. Hi Everyone!

I do apologize for being away for a long while, I've just had to deal with some personal issues. But I am back and ready to tackle all the notes and messages over the past month.

In the past, I've noticed that some people have made themselves known by replying to the people who commented on their secrets. [Please do not take this personally, this is not aimed at anyone specific.] Although I understand that sometimes you just want to thank a person for their kind comment, or you feel so connected to someone that you need to let yourself be known, I feel that you can do so on a more personal level. Why not, privately note the person? This club is all about the anonymity. One of the amazing aspects of this club, is that you can let your secrets be known, while remaining anonymous.

I have to admit, when I saw some people letting others know who they were, it bothered me. But I didn't do anything about it because I didn't think it hurt anyone. However, there are some members who have voiced their thoughts about it, and would prefer that the artist/secret holder, not let himself/herself be known. For those people, it ruins the experience. It takes away from the mysterious side of the secret/club. Now, although there may be others that disagree, I believe that maintaining your anonymity is for the best. If you want to let yourself be known, then note the person who you want to let into your world. But let those that would like to keep you faceless and nameless, as they are. If not, I have no choice but to either remove your secret, or disable the comments. I'm leaning more towards the removal, because sometimes it's better not to see a piece, then to not be able to comment on it.

So for a quick summary of the above paragraph:

1. Do NOT comment on your own secret.

2. If you do, then I will remove your secret, or disable the comments.

This goes in effect today, so secrets before now, will not be removed.

And I also do apologize if you sent anything to the club's e-mail address, as it seems that they were deleted or not received. A couple of you have mentioned sending secrets in, but when I checked, there were no secrets newly received. So what I will do, is create a new e-mail address (I'm sorry for changing it again), and display it on the main page, so that even non-members can send in their secrets.

Ok. Time to get working.

I apologize for not updating for so long. I've just had finals and it's the start of the new semester and I've been tryin' to get my head in order. But enough about me. I will be tryin' my best in answering all notes, uploading submitted secrets, thanking faves (which I do every now and then) and addin' the new members to the list.

I just wanted to make something clear. I've said this many times already, but I cannot stress this enough.

PLEASE DO NOT USE IMAGES THAT ARE NOT YOURS, UNLESS YOU GET PERMISSION FROM THE ORIGINAL ARTIST(S).

The reason being is, DA will NOT allow that, and could possibly ban this account. I understand why they are strict about that, but at the same time, it's so constricting, as the real PS site doesn't have to deal with that. But please, keep the club in mind. I don't want to log on one day and have a big exclamation point (!) in front of the club name, thus ending all of this.

I'm going through the comments, and what do I see? =annie252 has created a stamp for our club as well! (On the same day as our first stamp was submitted, but I've only seen it today!) I must give credit to =annie252 for creating a great stamp, that I hope some of you subscribers will use as well.

In reading the new comments, I was surprised to see some negative ones. I actually had to message the person that sent it, in case he wanted me to delete it from the gallery or hide the comments. Fortunately, he allowed me to keep everything as is.

I just want you all to know, that it isn't always the same for everyone. To me, Christmas is about spending time with your family, and going to church to celebrate what Christmas really is, which is a Catholic holiday. Unfortunately, many people have lost sight of that and see it as the commercial holiday. The religious aspect of it has been swallowed up by the wants and desires for materialistic things. I didn't get that many things this year, but because of being able to spend time with my loved ones, I can get over that. But there are some people, who are not as fortunate. They don't have family. Some people can only feel the love, with the gifts they receive from friends. And if they don't get any gifts, or if they get only one or two, it isn't the best feeling. Don't you think? So please just think before you type. Remember that a REAL person actually created the piece and sent it in, making himself vulnerable.

Due to some less than pleasant e-mails, I will be creating a new e-mail account that will only be given to members. I thought that it would be ok to post it on the page so that even non-members can submit pieces, but some folks took advantage of it and so now, that's done. The new one will be noted to you, and I would appreciate it if you kept it to yourselves. And due to some weird folk, and the fact that I don't want to be harassed on my main account, I'll keep myself anonymous. Sorry to those few interested. If I can't tell the whole group, then I shouldn't tell you few.

Have you guys seen the whole "White Hat" PS dealio? If it actually gets going, you guys can keep track of it with a blog someone started. White Hat Stories

I apologize that it is taking a while for me to submit your secrets. I try to check the account daily, and update ASAP. But recently it has become quite frustrating in uploading pieces.. so please be patient and do not take it personally.

Additionally, there have been a couple of members that have offered in helping me with this club. I thank you, but for now, I am good. I am sure you all know that there needs to be some mutual trust between us (which is difficult to form via the internet). And since I plan on leaving my main account alone for a long while, I am sure to have plenty of time to focus my time on this account.

If any of you see comments that you think are inappropriate, then please do tell me and I will hide them. I recently saw one and I am glad that we are able to hide comments, I just wish we were able to delete them.
